for the STM Pro it’s available on the WEB updater
https://nickz1969.github.io/web-dfu/
or through the firmwareloader app.
NOTICE : MAP Bug has been fixed, If you have upgraded to 202501, 202501.1 is now available to fix the problem.
New Features
- Initial implementation of knock control has been added. This is for use with external knock controllers that produce either a pulse based or analog output to indicate knock levels.
- Added ‘TunerStudio’ protocol on the secondary interface for use with devices such as the AirBear module. Note: Currently this protocol can only be used by either the primary or the secondary interface at any given time, 2 connections cannot be used simultaneously.
- Many improvements to CAN BUS functionality:
- Add CAN support for AEM 30-0300 X-Series wideband controllers
- Haltech Dash (Eg IC-7 / UC-10) protocol support added
- Fixes to multiple fields on BMW dash outputs
- Fix AFR and Flex fields showing wrong values on OBD2 protocol
- VSS limit added to launch control options
- Many improvements for Teensy 4.1 based systems (Eg Dropbear V2) including faster startup time and comms
- Indicator added to TunerStudio and log for Fuel Staging
- Added Honda J Series decoder (#1202)
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Major improvements to Serial comms robustness to avoid pauses or hangs when corrupt or invalid data is sent
- Fix an issue on Windows where connecting the ECU to USB would cause the ECU to wait indefinitely for serial data even when TunerStudio was not running (#1112)
- Verify there is sufficient buffer space before writing an SD card log entry. This prevents a potential wait that could occur if the buffer was full
- Display the correct existing O2 sensor calibration when opening the dialog in TunerStudio
- Fix Rover MEMS decoder not correctly determining sync for full sequential (#1240)
- The calibration settings for non-GM / Continental Flex sensors were being ignored (#1247)
- Fix stepper driver always being held enabled when open loop mode was used
- Fix the flex boost adjustment being added to boost target multiple times
- All other fixes that have been included in the 202402 Fix Packs

Hi Nick
Are you offering the Pro with Rusefi firmware?
Hi, Yes, it requires the MCU module, So if you currently have one you will need to purchase the Rusefi MCU module. The Rusefi MCU for the STM Pro is $20 AUD plus postage.
If you want to buy a STM Pro with the rusefi module I can send it out with the MCU required at no extra cost.
Hi , i have just come across your site and products, I actually just purchased one of your displays. Can you tell me a bit more about the ECU’s , I get the idea you load Speeduino firmware to the ecu and use tunerstudio to tune the ecu.
I build formulae libre race cars and where I need to run an aftermarket ecu I use Haltech and normally just Lufi X series dashes. your devices seem to be a good financial alternative.
Hello David, I’m actually moving my firmware over to rusEFI or a branch called Epic. Im still happy to use the speeduino firmware, but for tunability the new Epic firmware beats everything.
Tunerstudio is the Tuning application at the moment for all the firmware versions.
If you would like to see the features of Epic i can email you the INI file for Tunerstudio and you can have a look through the features.
Would you be able to provide the INI file for Epic? Interested to see the features
Hello tom,
Here is the link for the INI file. when you click it, it will load the text of the ini, in your browser select save as, it will save it as Epic_EFIPRO_H7.ini.txt remove the .TXT from the end and then you can use the ini file,mTuner Studio will complain about not having a tune loaded but you will be able to navigate the menus.

hello I too have come across your ecu line up through a friend(please direct me if my questions are to be asked privately or direct message is better).
im looking to purchase an ecu soon and I found information on the rusEFI that it will give me better capability over the speeduino software. I plan on using your ecu to run a ’05 titan vk56de. I’m from the US and Protunerz is the only company that offers your ecu but does not indicate if it will come with the rusEFI software. from the information I have gathered I believe the rusEFI software is more than capable at the drawback that it is for the more tech savvy tuner while speeduino is more user friendly? maybe some clarification, this will be the first time i do a non plug and play standalone and i want to be able to tune this myself instead of paying a tuner to do it for me. apologies for the lengthy inquiry any information is helpful.
Hello Chris, No protunerz only does the Speeduino version of my Pro ecu. I can supply the ecu with Rusefi or Epic (based off rusefi but even more features). the Rusefi version of ecu also does DBW if required.
Yes the Rusefi and epic are mode complicated and a bit more confusing to use as there is so many features, but does have a lot of advantages. 1 being short and long fuel trims, meaning they are always tuning you VE map and the Native DBW which i have been playing around with and works great.
the only thing negative about rusefi is lack of information/instructions. But I think i’ve learnt enough to solve most of any problems that come up on the Rusefi platform.
Thank you for the feed back I will be ordering your ecu with the rusefi software from you directly.
